Violent Weekend Continues with Third Homicide

Foothills Albuquerque - On Sunday August 7th, 2022 around 6:30AM, Albuquerque Police officers were called to the Copper Ridge Apartments in reference to a fight.

Shots were fired during the altercation and a male subject was found deceased on scene. It appears the incident happened on second floor of building 5 at the apartment complex.

This is the third homicide of this weekend and the 106th of 2022 for Albuquerque. We will update when details become available
