Two Vehicle Car Crash Kills 1, Injuries Another on ABQ's Westside

Rescue workers are at the scene of a fatal crash at the intersection of McMahon and Bandelier NW on ABQ's west side

NW Albuquerque - Around 10:15PM, a serious crash happened near the area of McMahon Bl NW and Bandelier Dr NW. When officers arrived, they found a white SUV and gray 4 door sedan involved in a crash. According to APD sworn officer and public information officer Chase Jewell, officers arrived on scene and found one individual involved in the crash had already died from their injuries sustained during the crash, another man had been transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Motor/Traffic Unit of APD will take over the investigation due to the fatality and serious injury of the other driver.
