Two separate overnight deaths investigated by APD

NE ABQ - Last night Police were called to investigated a down and out female in a vehicle at the intersection of Grand and San Mateo NE. Upon further inspection Officers discovered the female was dead of a gunshot wound.

At a separate scene nearby another down and out female was located near Bell and San Pedro. Police determined that this female had also died of a bullet wound.

Both scenes will be investigated further to determine what happened.

Police do not believe the two scenes are related in any way.

These two recent homicides account for the 89th and 90th homicides for 2022.
