Shooting Leaves One Dead and One in Stable Condition

DK Convenience Store - 13601 Copper NE

Foothills Albuquerque-

A shooting happened at the DK convenience store located at 13601 Copper Avenue NE. The shooting left one person dead and one person was last listed in stable condition at UNMH.

Albuquerque Police were sent to the DK Gas Station where they found the two victims. Ambulances took the two victims to UNMH. One died at the hospital and the other was in surgery.

APD's Lt. Ray Del Greco says the the call came in around 6:00PM and the investigation is in its early stages.

This is the 40th homicide of 2022.
