Murder Happens Just After Halloween Ends in Albuquerque

The Albuquerque Police Department's Homicide Unit is being activated to take over a deadly shooting that occurred just after 2am. Officers were originally dispatched to the area of 5th ST SW and Atlantic AVE SW to reports of a shooting. Officers arrived on the scene and located one individual who succumbed to apparent gunshot wounds on scene. Currently, no one is in custody at this time.

While on scene we observed investigators focused on a house on Atlantic Ave SW. They were seen going in and out of the property and looking at evidence around the driveway.
This is Albuquerque's 125th homicide for 2023.
