Murder Happens in NE Albuquerque

Albuquerque - On November 11th, 2023, APD officers responded to a fatal shooting in the 4200 block of Penelope Pl., N.E., this is near San Pedro Rd. and Montgomery Blvd.

According to APD, officers in the Northeast Area Command responded to a call that came in to 911 at 9:08 p.m. about an individual who suffered from a gunshot wound. Officers arrived soon after the call and located the victim who was not responsive. Rescue personnel determined the victim was deceased.

APD homicide detectives were called out to start an investigation. This is the 128th confirmed homicide of Albuquerque in 2023.
