Murder Happens at ABQ Foothills Apartment Complex

Albuquerque -

On September 1st, 2023, according to Albuquerque Police Department, officers in the Foothills Area Command responded shortly after 10 p.m. to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex. One male victim was located and determined to be deceased at the scene.

Witnesses told us they saw a second victim possibly being rushed in a personal vehicle to a local hospital.

APD Homicide detectives started an investigation into the shooting death tonight at the Vista Grande apartments, located at 12801 Copper Ave., NE

This is the 104th homicide for 2023 in the Albuquerque area.
