Motorcyclist Shot and Killed in Busy Westside Intersection

There is an active homicide investigation underway at Alameda/528 and Corrales Rd. Reportedly, an outlaw motorcycle member and his prospect were riding their motorcycles west bound on Alameda/528 at Corrales when an unknown vehicle opened fire on them.

Witnesses report at least three shots were fired and one of the bikers was hit at least once. After being shot, the biker crashed his motorcycle into a vehicle going the opposite direction on 528 then fell into the roadway in front of the of the Bank of America near the Wendy’s. The victim appeared to be an adult white male.

APD stands near the scene of a homicide involving a motorcycle rider

APD is handling the homicide investigation, but BCSO, Corrales PD, and Rio Rancho PD could be seen helping to direct traffic in the area.

This is the second homicide investigation today for the Albuquerque Metro area. This is Albuquerque Metro’s 24th homicide of 2023.
