Motorcycle Crash Happens on I-25 in Albuquerque

Albuquerque Police Department officers are at the scene of a critical-injury crash involving a motorcycle on I-25 northbound between Montano Rd and Jefferson, N.E. The crash happened around 9PM on August 12th, 2023.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital. His injuries appear to be life-threatening. Other vehicles also crashed, apparently trying to avoid the crashed motorcycle.

Witnesses told us that it appeared to be a Harley Davidson involved in the crash. There was also a grey sedan that appeared to remain on scene. We will update the story when more information becomes available. I-25 will more than likely be open by the 2AM on August 13th, 2023.
