SW Albuquerque –
Around 12:50 AM on 6/2/2022, Albuquerque Police got reports of shots fired at 1252 Mimbres St SW. Additional information came in that a man was shot in the stomach by a neighbor. The neighbor fled the scene in a grey Hyundai utility vehicle.
Officers arrived on scene and the victim died on scene. Witnesses described the shooter as an adult white.
This is the 64th homicide of 2022 in Albuquerque. We will have a follow up story when a suspect is booked in this case.
