Man Shot and Killed at New Home Construction Job Site

NW Albuquerque -

Around 5PM, Albuquerque Police Officers were called to the 9000 block of Southern Sky St. NW in reference to an adult male gun shot victim.

According to witnesses, they heard gunshots and saw a man laying in the street by a trailer. They said the offender left in a vehicle and there was potentially a gun fight between the offender and the victim over stolen tools or construction material.

The neighborhood has many new homes under construction with various contractors working on the homes during the day.

This is Albuquerque's 141st homicide of 2022.
