Lightning Storm or other Weather Related Issue causes Shelter In Place at Balloon Fiesta Park

Balloon Fiesta Park ABQ - A weather related warning has set off emergency alert notifications on several phone carriers. The alerts did not immediately let people know what was going on but have since stated the alerts are due to weather related safety measures. A shelter in place warning was in place at the Balloon Park.

The Fiesta itself has said this about the incident:

"Guests who are onsite should move to the Sid Cutter Pavilion, Event Center or board school buses (arriving on the launch field) as a shelter in place."
