Hit and Run Kills Child Near River of Lights

Albuquerque -

Around 8:30PM Albuquerque Police officers were dispatched to the scene of a pedestrian vs off road vehicle incident near Central Ave and Tingley DR SW. When they arrived they found a seven year old child and an adult.

The child was declared dead on scene and the adult was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The off road vehicle fled the scene and police were looking for the suspects in this fatal hit and run.

Police released security camera footage of the vehicle. They ask people to call 242-COPS if you know the vehicle or suspects.
