Albuquerque -

On 11/4/2021, a multi agency task force comprised of local and federal law enforcement did a high level SWAT raid of three suspects on Comanche near Carlisle. The scene consisted of armored vehicles and heavily armed law enforcement tactical officers. One of the wanted suspects arrested was Thomas Acee, who is a wanted fugitive from California. Thomas Acee was taken into custody by The United States Marshal service.

Acee's father is a high level FBI special agent based in New Mexico. The elder Acee is most recently known for taking down the dangerous prison gang Syndico Nuveo Mexico. This gang had murder hits out for law enforcement officials, rival gang members in prison, and others out in the streets.

Thomas Acee has also been implicated in the Bernalillo County Headquarter shooting, and a few other shooting in New Mexico, including a possible homicide, and finally a California felony gun charge. Another suspect arrested in this same raid was Marcus Rowe who was also implicated in the shooting at the recently opened Bernco headquarters downtown.

We reached out to the local FBI office for comment on whether or not Special Agent Acee notified his office of the warrant for his son, whether or not if the multi agency taskforce was potentially in danger, and what FBI protocols are in place for FBI employees to let their supervisors at FBI know their family is a known felon.

This is a developing story and we will update when more information is available
