We are getting word a New Mexico State Police Officer has been shot near the mile marker 15 on 333 Sedillo just outside of Albuquerque.
We found a secondary scene related to the shooting at a gas station South of I40 in Edgewood. A white Chevy Silverado has crime tape and State Police by it.
The officer has been transported to UNMH with unknown injuries. It is unknown what led to the shooting at this time.
