APD Detectives Involved in Shooting of Murder Suspect near Nob Hill Area

Albuquerque's Nob Hill Area -

Around 545PM, The Albuquerque Police department was involved in a shooting with a murder suspect near the UNM area.

According to APD civilian communications director Gilbert Gallegos the shooting occurred about 5:30 p.m. in the area of Silver Ave and Adams St., S.E. One person was critically injured and transported to a hospital.

No officers were injured. Several individuals have been detained. The scene is secure and there is no threat to the public at this time.
