BREAKING NEWS: Active Shooter Reported at Century Rio 24

APD Officers are responding to reports of shots fired at the Century Rio movie theatre at 4901 Pan American Freeway in Northeast Albuquerque.

According to APD, the theatre has been evacuated. First responders are still working the scene, so at last report, the area was still considered active. Please avoid the area if possible.

The public is still urged to follow directions of the officers on scene.

We have two reporters at the scene, so we will update this story when more information becomes available.

UPDATE:

On Twitter, APD reports that there is no longer a threat inside of the theatre. They also said at least one person was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound, it is unknown if that person is the suspect.
