Apparent Homeless Man found dead near river bank

NW ABQ - Saturday morning hikers on the west side of the river near Atrisco and Central noticed the smell of something deceased in the area. Upon further inspection they located a male near a tent who was deceased for some time.
Police were called to the scene and after inspection of the area, they deemed it necessary to have violent crimes detectives investigate the death further.
