APD Investigating Suspicious Death at Days Inn on Central

Albuquerque -

At around 5 o'clock this evening, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department were called to Days Inn on Central Ave. NE. A caller had found a deceased individual inside one of the rooms.

APD Officers quickly arrived and the officers confirmed the occupant's death.

Due to the several stab wounds located on the deceased, this is being treated as a suspicious death. APD's Homicide Detectives taking over the investigation from patrol officers on scene.

We have a reporter headed to the scene.
