APD Investigates latest Suspicious Death in Albuquerque's Valley

Albuquerque, NM -
On Saturday, July 22, 2023, Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) responded to a report of an apparent homicide at 224 Mescalero Rd NW. Based on dispatch logs, it appears as though Albuquerque Fire Rescue was first dispatched to the scene around 1:20PM.
Upon arrival, officers located a person dead at the residence.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time. APD homicide detectives are asking anyone with information about this homicide to contact them at 505-242-COPS (2677) or Crime Stoppers at 843-STOP (7867). For the Albuquerque Metro area, this could be the 85th homicide for 2023. This is the fourth potential homicide in the last three days.
