APD Detectives Investigate an In Custody Death on Albuquerque's Westside

NW Albuquerque -
Around 5pm, Albuquerque Police were called to the 2900 Americare Ct. NW about a disturbance call. A male suspect fled on foot and was apprehended by APD at a nearby AutoZone parking lot. While he was in custody he died from a medical episode.
Violent Crime Detectives were called to the scene because of the in custody death.
