Albuquerque –
Around 9:00AM this morning, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Palomas Drive NE. in regards to a barricaded individual inside a home. We heard he may have originally been wanted for a probation violation.
A perimeter around the neighborhood was established and police began to make public address announcements for the man to exit the home. After a tense standoff, the man finally opened the front door and obeyed the commands of law enforcement. He was peacefully taken into custody without incident and put in the back of a patrol car.
We will update the story when we learn more.
