AFR Fights House Fire in Foothills Neighborhood

Foothills, Albuquerque-

Around 1:55PM, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to a house fire at 1136 Turner Ave. NE.

Many fire fighters attacked the blaze with fire fighting equipment and water suppression. There appeared to be no victims harmed during the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

A witness said he heard a loud boom coming from the house and initially thought it was coming from Kirtland Air Force Base.
