Child Killer faces 18 Years

According to the Da's office late this afternoon, Pamela Esparza pled guilty to multiple crimes in connection with the beating death of 4-year-old James Dunklee.
Esparza pled to abandonment of a child resulting in death, failure to report child abuse, and one count of child abuse.
In the fall of 2019, James was abused repeatedly. Zerrick Marquez pled guilty to killing the child. James' mother, Krista Cruz also pled guilty to multiple crimes in connection with her son's death.
Esparza not only knew about the abuse but took part in it. She faces 18 years in prison. Sentencing will take place at a later date.
Esparza is the third person charged in connection with the beating death of James Dunklee.
